Information We Collect

When you use SeekArc, we collect information that you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, career information, and responses to interview questions. We also automatically collect certain technical information about your use of our service.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, including generating personalized career profiles and resumes. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

AI Assistant Apps

If you choose to connect your account through OAuth, the assistant can request your SeekArc account ID, display name and email through get_seekarc_account. You approve this access on SeekArc using your existing sign-in; your password is not shared. The account:read permission confirms identity only and does not allow profile changes, resume reading, or resume generation. Saving approved background requires separate career:write permission.

SeekArc's app for AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, and other MCP clients) receives the inputs to the tools you use, such as a role name or career background, plus standard server logs. It does not have access to the rest of your conversation. The review_career_background tool processes the supplied career text to return an editable draft; that draft is not stored as a saved handoff or profile, and the review runs no AI inference. You can edit the draft before explicitly choosing to save it. Saving requires connecting your SeekArc account and approving career-write access. You can create an account or sign in during that connection. We process the approved text to update the same career profile used by the website; no separate import is required. Previously issued private handoff links still expire after 7 days and are deleted after successful import.

With your approval and resume:write permission, SeekArc processes the job description you supply together with your saved career profile to generate and store a tailored resume on that same account, using the same AI pipeline as the website. The separate resume:read permission lets the assistant read generation status, retrieve the resume text (including any personal information in it), and request its PDF. Normal account allowances, template access, and watermark rules apply. PDF download links expire in five minutes; anyone with a link can download that specific resume until expiry. Keep the link private. A new link can be requested without generating another resume.

Resume generation and PDF download use the same account audit and product events as the website. The resume_generated event records the connected account ID, whether a job description was supplied, and the pipeline source. The resume_downloaded event records the account ID, watermark status, and whether the source was MCP or the website. These product events exclude job descriptions, resume text, OAuth tokens, and private PDF download links.

After an authenticated save, we record mcp_profile_saved with the connected account ID and numeric counts of extracted experiences and skills. For previously issued handoff links, we record an aggregate count of saved handoffs without a visitor identifier and an authenticated event after successful import. These conversion events do not include your career text, private link or token, target role, contact details, queries, or chat messages. We do not track anonymous guide use or interactions inside the career workspace. Your AI assistant provider separately processes tool inputs and results under its own privacy policy.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. You can also opt out of certain communications from us.
